What would you do for love?

What is love? One of the great unsolved Mysterious. There is speculation of what love is: the forms/the views, but does that answer what love is. Raymond Carver wrote a book "What do we talk about when we talk about love" What do we talk about: soul mates, love at first sight, love between man and women, love between parents and child, love for your country, love for the pursuit of knowledge. Socrates loved the pursuit of knowledge (phil-love sophia-wisdom philsopher-love of wisdom) he loved wisdom. In Symposium Socrates tells the story of Diotima, a wise woman. She stated that love is the spirit that meditates between two people. That spirit between two people-that spark that one feels when there has been that reach of compassion, affection, understanding, that relaxed feeling between those two people. Love is said to be stupid, to be bold, to cross an ocean. That passion, that spark. The laughter that will be shared and the tears that will be shed between those two people, for the memories of a pet, or a meaningful job. Love is unanswered, but speculated. It makes this life worth it to experience that feeling. That warm fuzzy feeling, the feeling you once felt when your parent's tucked you in at night or kissed you goodbye. Its that feeling of safety of undescrible happiness, but it all starts at the beginning-a rock, a tree, a cloud.
ABC has a new television show called Cupid. You can check it out at this website http://abc.go.com/
